THERMAL AND ACOUSTIC INSULATION FOR INDUSTRIAL FANS

We’ve been supporting several of the UK’s major industrial fan manufacturers for over 15 years, developing innovative and pioneering solutions for complex and, at times, cumbersome installation procedures.

We also have a team of industry-leading installers and fabricators who provide much needed on-site and on-request support for our clients.

Due to the unique nature of the fans that we produce, each item’s specification and operating requirement will be different depending on its intended use. To ensure we provide the right manufacturing and installation solutions, we always ask clients to help us understand the answers to the following sets of questions:

Operating Conditions

  • What will be its maximum operating temperature?
  • When running, what will be the expected decibel output?
  • What will be the minimum and maximum ambient temperature?

Required Performance

  • Personnel protection, what does the outside cladding temperature need to be?
  • Acoustic reasons, what decibel reduction is required?
  • Heat conservation, what is an acceptable heat loss?

Environment

  • Where will the equipment be sited and how will this impact on the insulation system?

Many of our clients also require electrical trace heating installing to the fan skin casing to prevent condensation/frost. Having the ability and expertise to provide both insulation and trace heating services in-house gives our clients all the benefits and convenience associated with purchasing from a single source.
